Realm Championship Italia 2009

Domenica 15 novembre, al Pala RS Congressi di Castel San Pietro Terme, in provincia di Bologna, si è svolto il Realm Championship per l’Italia di WoW TCG. Per quanto riguarda il formato degli incontri, prima sono stati effettuati 4 turni di Costruito  con girone alla Svizzera, poi 3 turni di Booster Draft, ed infine la Top8 Costruito ad eliminazione diretta. Il vincitore è stato Andrea La Rosa con il suo deck mage traitor Vor’na the Wretched che in finale ha battuto Davide Rizzi con il suo deck priest holy Katianna the Shrouded. Al terzo posto Gianluca Antonacci ed il suo warrior traitor Fallenstar, che precede Fabio Severino ed il suo mage traitor Vor’na the Wretched.

Anche quest’anno nel mese di ottobre si è celebrato il mondiale di WoW TGC ed anche in questo torneo a farla da padroni sono stati i deck mage. Il campione del mondo è William Postlethwait con il suo mage Ally Spellweaver Jihan. Sul podio salgono anche Matt Markoff ed il suo mage Loraala the Frigid e Remi Lacorre con mage Horda Velindra Sepulchre. Al quarto posto e ad un soffio dal podio Anssi Alkio con Loraala the Frigid. Completano la Top 8 dei migliori deck del mondiale Dusty Hostutler con il suo priest holy Emek the Equalizer, Philip Martin con Pidge Filthfinder, Luke Chen e Tim Batow con due varianti di Velindra Sepulchre.
